Since Victa Railfreight Ltd formed in 1995 the company has constantly adapted to the evolving landscape of the rail freight industry. Our product portfolio now provides a full range of operational, safety and logistics services to rail freight operators, customers, potential users and stakeholders. Our experienced and dedicated team of rail professionals are based at locations across the UK and recent business growth has seen our employee numbers increase to well over 100.
As well as being licensed UK wide freight train operators in our own right, our Rail Services division also provides a range of services to support train operators, terminal operators and industrial users of rail. Innovative approaches to resourcing of rail freight flows and terminal operations are already generating additional traffic volumes by introducing efficiencies and different thinking.
Meanwhile our training and advisory team support both existing and potential users of rail freight, as well as clients in the construction and heritage railway sectors, with a wide range of training, compliance, safety management and logistics services based around our core rail operations expertise.
Our experience in providing rail operations management and service on major construction projects such as HS1 and Crossrail is widely recognised and we are working with HS2 Contractors to develop bespoke operational solutions to deal with the large volumes of cargo movement associated with that project.
